How an iOS engagement runs end-to-end.

1

Discover

Week 1

Workshops, feature mapping against Apple HIG, ATT and privacy planning, identifier strategy, and a written scope you can take to Apple Developer Enterprise Program if needed.

2

Design (HIG-first)

Week 2–3

Figma flows built around iOS conventions — system colors, dynamic type, dark mode, accessibility from the start. SF Symbols and SF Pro used everywhere they make sense.

3

Build sprints

Week 3–9

Two-week sprints in Swift / SwiftUI, TestFlight builds at every sprint end, CI via Xcode Cloud or Fastlane configured before the first PR.

4

QA & Apple-readiness

Week 9–10

XCUITest E2E suite, accessibility audit (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type), privacy nutrition labels, ATT prompt copy, and a dry-run of App Store Review.

5

App Store submission

Week 10–11

Screenshots, App Preview videos, ASO keyword research, and the actual submission — including managing Apple's review feedback round-trips if any.

6

Live ops

Ongoing

Phased rollout monitoring, crash response, OS major-version upgrades each September, and quarterly feature releases mapped to WWDC announcements.

Why iVentureTeam

Why teams hire iVentureTeam for iOS.

iOS is more than Swift — it's HIG, privacy, ATT, App Store Review, and a yearly OS treadmill. We've been on it since iOS 7.

01

Swift-first, SwiftUI-default

We've moved past UIKit for most new builds. SwiftUI gives 30–40% less code, true dark-mode and Dynamic Type, and shared UI across iOS / iPad / Mac / Vision.

02

App Store Review fluency

Our last 12 apps passed App Store Review on the first submission. We know the rejection patterns — 3.1.1, 4.3 spam, 2.5.10, privacy disclosure — and engineer around them upfront.

03

Privacy & ATT done right

Privacy nutrition labels, App Tracking Transparency prompts, and on-device processing wherever possible. We protect your store rating and your users' trust.

04

Apple HIG specialists

Every screen aligns with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines — system colors, SF Symbols, native gestures. Users feel the app, not the framework.

05

WWDC-current always

We adopt the new APIs each September — iOS 18 features in production by November, not 'someday.' iOS 19 readiness audited well before release.

06

Enterprise iOS depth

Apple Business Manager, MDM via Jamf or Intune, in-house distribution, Per-app VPN, SSO. We ship inside Fortune 500 device fleets, not just the consumer Store.

iOS apps we build for these industries.

Frequently asked questions

What iOS app development services does iVentureTeam offer?

We offer end-to-end iOS app development — custom iPhone and iPad apps in Swift / SwiftUI, Apple Watch and watchOS development, tvOS and visionOS, enterprise iOS with MDM and Apple Business Manager, Objective-C to Swift modernization, Core ML / ARKit integration, App Store submission with ASO, and ongoing post-launch support. We engage as fixed-price builds, dedicated iOS engineers, or focused modernization sprints.

How much does iOS app development cost?

iOS app development cost depends on scope, design polish, and integrations. A focused MVP typically lands between $20K–$50K. A feature-complete iPhone + iPad app sits in the $45K–$110K range. An enterprise iOS app with MDM, SSO, and ERP integration starts around $70K. A dedicated senior iOS engineer is $4,500–$6,500/month. We give a written quote after a 30-minute scoping call.

Swift, SwiftUI, or Objective-C — which should we use?

For new builds, we recommend Swift with SwiftUI as the default for screens that fit it (90% of UIs), falling back to UIKit only where SwiftUI isn't mature enough (complex collection views, certain camera flows). Objective-C is for maintaining legacy code, not new development. If you have an Obj-C codebase, we usually plan an incremental migration rather than a big-bang rewrite.

Do you handle the App Store submission process?

Yes — submission is included in every fixed-price build. We handle App Store Connect setup, privacy nutrition labels, ATT prompts and reasoning, TestFlight beta testing, screenshot and App Preview video production, ASO keyword research, the submission itself, and any back-and-forth with App Store Review. Our last 12 apps passed Review on the first round.

How long does it take to develop an iOS app?

Most production iPhone apps ship in 10–14 weeks from kickoff to App Store launch. A polished MVP can launch in 6–8 weeks. iPad and Watch companion adds typically add 2–3 weeks. Enterprise apps with MDM, SSO, and ERP integration usually land in the 14–18-week range. We commit to a milestone schedule before the first sprint and report against it weekly.

Can you build Apple Watch and visionOS apps?

Yes. We build standalone watchOS apps (workout, health, complications, Smart Stack widgets) and visionOS spatial apps using SwiftUI and RealityKit. Watch is often paired with an iPhone app via WatchConnectivity; visionOS apps can share a SwiftUI codebase with iOS for faster delivery.

Do you support enterprise iOS distribution and MDM?

Yes. We deliver iOS apps for Apple Business Manager and Apple Developer Enterprise Program, with full MDM integration (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Workspace ONE), managed app configuration, Per-app VPN, SSO via OAuth 2.0 / SAML / OpenID, and in-house distribution. We've shipped apps inside Fortune 500 device fleets and regulated industries.

What about iOS 18 features — widgets, Live Activities, App Intents?

Yes — they're standard in our 2026 builds. Lock Screen widgets, interactive widgets, Live Activities for Dynamic Island, App Intents for Siri and Shortcuts, Control Center extensions, and Apple Intelligence integration where the app benefits. We track WWDC announcements every June and adopt new APIs in production by November.

How do you handle iOS privacy and App Tracking Transparency?

Privacy is engineered in from day one. We design data flows to minimize collection, use on-device processing wherever possible, write privacy nutrition labels honestly, and only show the ATT prompt when there's a real use case (and a clear pre-prompt explaining why). This protects your store rating and avoids the 35–50% opt-in drop most apps see from a badly worded ATT prompt.

Ready to launch your iOS app on App Store?

Book a free 30-minute call with a senior iOS architect. We'll review your idea, recommend Swift / SwiftUI versus a cross-platform path, and send a fixed-price quote within 48 hours.
