Frequently asked questions

Should I pick Odoo or Zoho One?

Quick rule of thumb: if you make/move physical products (manufacturing, distribution, eCommerce, multi-warehouse) → Odoo. If you're a services business, agency, sales-led B2B, or professional firm → Zoho One. We implement both — we'll tell you honestly which fits.

Can Odoo and Zoho coexist?

Yes, very common. Many of our clients run Zoho CRM + Zoho Marketing + Zoho Desk on the front-end, with Odoo handling ERP / operations / finance / manufacturing. We build the integration layer.

What does Zoho One cost vs Odoo?

Zoho One ~$37/user/month all-in (≈$11k/year for 25 users). Odoo Enterprise ~$31/user/month — but you typically need fewer modules, so apples-to-apples Odoo runs comparable or cheaper for ERP-heavy needs. Zoho wins on raw breadth-per-dollar at low headcount.

Is Zoho a real Odoo alternative for manufacturing?

Not really. Zoho Inventory + Zoho Books cover service-oriented inventory adequately, but they lack MRP, work orders, BOM management, quality control, and multi-warehouse routing. For manufacturing — Odoo.

Can we migrate from Zoho to Odoo (or vice versa)?

Yes both ways. We routinely migrate Zoho Books → Odoo Accounting when companies outgrow Zoho's depth, and Odoo CRM → Zoho CRM when sales teams want Zoho's UI/automation. Reconciliation reports signed off by your auditor before cutover.

Are you a Zoho partner too?

Yes — iVentureTeam is a certified Zoho implementation partner. We pick Odoo or Zoho based on which actually fits your business, not based on which we want to sell.

Not sure which one fits?

30-min call with a senior consultant — we'll tell you honestly which platform (or hybrid) wins for your business.
