Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. They're used to make sites work, work better, or provide information to the site owner. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to also cover similar technologies — local storage, session storage, web beacons, and pixels.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for four purposes: keeping the site working, measuring how the site is used, supporting marketing campaigns, and remembering your preferences. The table below shows each category.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the site to work. Examples: maintaining your session, remembering your cookie preferences, security. | iv_cookie_consent, iv_cookie_consent_ts | Not required (legitimate interest) |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. | _ga, _ga_<ID>, _gid | Requires consent (Accept all) |
| Marketing & advertising | Used by partners (LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads) to measure ad effectiveness if we run paid campaigns referring traffic to the site. Disabled unless you accept all. | _li_*, _fbp, _gcl_* | Requires consent (Accept all) |
| Functionality | Remember choices you make (preferred language, region) to give you a better experience. Currently we don't use functionality cookies — listed for completeness. | — | Not currently used |
Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit the site, you'll see a banner asking whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all let you block, delete, or accept cookies by site. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
If you've set the “Do Not Track” header in your browser, we treat that as implicit refusal of analytics and marketing cookies and don't show the consent banner.
Third-party cookies
Some of our service providers may set their own cookies — for example, embedded videos (YouTube), maps (Google Maps), or chat widgets. We don't control these cookies; please refer to the third-party's privacy policy for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. For wider context, see our Privacy Policy.
