We collect only what we need to operate, secure, and improve our services:

• You provide directly: name, work email, phone number, company, role, project details — submitted via consultation forms, newsletter sign-ups, or email correspondence.
• Automatically collected: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and similar telemetry through cookies and analytics.
• From third parties: data from analytics, advertising, and CRM providers when you interact with our content on their platforms (e.g., LinkedIn ad clicks, Google Search).

We use personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:

• Respond to enquiries— to provide consultations, quotes, and follow-up communication you've requested. Legal basis: contract / pre-contractual steps.
• Service delivery — to provide engineering, consulting, and managed services you contract with us. Legal basis: contract.
• Marketing — newsletter, occasional product updates. Legal basis: consent. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
• Analytics & site improvement — to understand which pages are useful and how to make the site faster and clearer. Legal basis: consent (via the cookie banner) or legitimate interest depending on jurisdiction.
• Security & abuse prevention — protecting our infrastructure, our customers, and other site users. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Legal obligations— when we're required by Indian, EU, UK, US, or other applicable laws to keep records (e.g., tax, audit).

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers we use to run the business — hosting (Vercel, AWS), email delivery (Resend), analytics (Google Analytics), CRM (HubSpot / Zoho), payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay), and similar. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.
• Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, and auditors who require access to perform their services.
• Authorities — when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell personal data. Ever.

We're headquartered in India and process data in India and the European Economic Area. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (or equivalent UK SCCs), supplementary measures where appropriate, and adequacy decisions where they apply.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, then delete or anonymize it. Typical retention windows:

• Consultation enquiries: 24 months from last contact.
• Customer engagement records: 7 years (tax / audit requirements).
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics: 14 months in Google Analytics (default).

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights — access, correction, deletion (“right to be forgotten”), restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California residents have CCPA/CPRA rights including opt-out of sale (we don't sell). Indian residents have rights under the DPDP Act 2023.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest, principle-of-least-privilege access controls, regular vulnerability scanning, and incident response procedures. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously.

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please email admin@iventureteam.com and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features or comply with new regulations. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via a notice on the site for at least 30 days.
